A hamon you can follow with your eyes — and a blade tempered the old way.
The hamon is the wavy line along the edge of Japanese blades, born from clay tempering: the edge is coated, heated and quenched differently from the spine, leaving a visible boundary between hard and soft steel. This blade runs that same tradition through modern SKD-11 tool steel, hardened to 60 HRC. The handle pairs smooth yak bone scales with an open, skeletonized stainless steel frame — light in the pocket, solid in the hand. One-hand flipper opening and a pocket clip keep it a true everyday carry, not a shelf piece.
