Mid-hatch, mid-stare, mid-attitude. This owl has just cracked through its shell — and it's already judging your knife choice. Two metals do the work: an eggshell split top and bottom in your choice of solid 925 sterling silver or white copper, and a solid brass owl breaking out of it. Warm gold hatching out of bright polished metal, with the feathers oxidized dark so every one of them reads. The eyes are hand-set amber glass — domed, deep orange, catching light from across the room. Lost-wax cast from a hand-carved 3D wax master. It's not a charm. It's a one-inch sculpture for your everyday carry.
FEATURES
- Two metals, one piece — Solid brass owl, shell in your choice of solid 925 sterling silver or white copper. Warm gold hatching out of bright polished metal — not one metal plated to look like two.
- Mid-hatch, top and bottom — Cracked eggshell above and below, the owl breaking out in between. Feathers, beak and talons all hand-tooled.
- Hand-set amber glass eyes — Deep orange, domed, and alive in any light.
- Oxidized for depth — Darkened feathers against a bright-polished shell. Detail a mold could never hold.
- Lost-wax cast from a carved wax master — 3D wax carving → investment casting → hand setting → hand polish and antiquing.
- Real weight — ~20 g in silver; white copper runs a little lighter. Substantial weight that makes a lanyard drape and a folder flip with authority.
- 6 mm hole — Fits 550 paracord, knife lanyards, and beadable zipper pulls.
- Two metals, two ages — The shell keeps its shine; the brass warms and darkens as you carry it. Both polish back.
